Woman to lobby Vernon city hall to ban pesticide use in municipal parks

Same woman successfully got school board to earlier ban pesticides

A Vernon, B.C. woman who, several years ago, successfully lobbied for the ban of cosmetic pesticide use on school properties, is now taking her anti-pesticide campaign to city hall. Kerry Carlson said she was alarmed to see pesticide warning signs posted at a city park while young children played nearby.
