Winnipeg dog park opening delayed until 2020

Scheduled October opening postponed to allow for turf to establish

Dog owners wishing to let their pets loose at a new Winnipeg leash-free park will have to wait until next year. The park was supposed to open in October, but the city argues the turf hasn’t had sufficient time to establish and dog traffic now would impede the effort.
