Vandals carve up pair of sports fields in Alliston, Ont.

A pair of sports fields in Alliston, Ont. were purposely damaged over the weekend by motorized vehicles which gouged out a series of circles.

The targeted fields were at Peterman Diamond at PPG Park and Geoff S. Gaston Sports Park.

The Town of North Tecumseth has yet to estimate the cost damage to the fields nor how long it will take to make repairs.

Anyone with information about the vandalism is urged to contact the Nottawasaga OPP or Crime Stoppers.
