About 400 litres of gasoline spill into golf course water features and sewers
November 22, 2019 By Nanaimo News NOW
Thieves who made off with stolen gasoline at a Nanoose Bay, B.C. golf course did considerably more harm than committing an act of theft. Sometime during the evening of Nov. 20, thieves broke the lock to a fuel tank at Fairwinds Golf Club but left the pump handle open before fleeing. The act caused about 400 litres of gasoline to spill into nearby sewers and water features on the golf course.
