Sun Peaks’ Lyall wins Gordon Witteveen Award for best published article in 2023
Superintendent wrote about steps to achieve an effective management system

Keith Lyall, superintendent at the Sun Peaks Resort Golf Course in Sun Peaks, B.C., has been named 2023 winner of the Gordon Witteveen Award.
The award is presented annually by the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association to the superintendent or assistant superintendent who has written the best-judged article for GreenMaster magazine for the awarding year. Lyall’s entry was entitled, “Steps to an effective management system.”
He will formally be presented with his award in February during the Canadian Golf Course Management Conference in Montreal.
Lyall has been a member of the CGSA since 2005 and sits on the association’s environment committee.
