Some of Winnipeg’s municipal golf courses could be repurposed: councillor
Golf courses are great, councillor says, but aren't publicly accessible green spaces

The chairman of Winnipeg’s innovations and economic development committee said he doesn’t think the city should be getting out of the golf business, but suggested some of the 100 hectares of land could be repurposed. “Bottom line is… golf courses, while they are great, they’re not publicly accessible green space,” Coun. John Orlikow said.
