Councillor wants Winnipeg to take another look at its city-run golf courses
Municipal courses took nearly a $750,000 hit last year

A Winnipeg councillor wonders if the city should take another hard look at its operation of municipal golf courses. The city operates four courses and oversees the leases of another eight. Coun. John Orlikow sees no need to to be running 12 courses and suggests some of the golf land might be better suited for other purposes.
