Nine-hole Manitoba golf course has come a long way since its sand-and-oil greens days
Course has seen several changes since 1958

Sand-and-oil greens were once the norm at the Roland Golf Club in Manitoba, but the nine-hole layout has since blossomed into one of the province’s most picturesque golf courses. The course opened in 1958 as Elm Park and has since undergone a number of upgrades and redesigns, including three new greens and changes to five other holes.
