Manitoba remains on watch for emerald ash borer activity

Feb. 28, 2019 – The emerald ash borer remains a threat in Manitoba in spite of an extremely cold winter in the province. Manitobans were hoping the extreme cold would have killed off the invasive insect, but many have survived and are expected to continue to destroy ash trees.
