Jan. 28, 2019 – The extreme cold snap hitting most parts of Canada could be bad news for the emerald ash borer, scientists are saying. Research is being done to see if temperatures of minus 30 degrees Celsius or lower might be enough to kill the invasive pest or at least slow it down.
