Investigation launched into curious purchase of mowers, lawn care services

Oct. 30, 2018 – A purchase order for new lawn mowers and lawn care services lies at the heart of an investigation into possible fraudulent activity within the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District. The incident happened in 2013. Curiously, the district already had lawn mowers and the company hired wasn’t even in the lawn care business.
