Property values to drop if course closes: realtor

Oct. 31, 2018 – Homes surrounding the Riverview Golf Club in Redcliff, Alta. stand to lose thousands of dollars in property values if the golf course permanently shuts its doors in response to a significant amount of short-term debt it has amassed, a Medicine Hat real estate board official says. The future of the golf course remains uncertain while a newly formed committee studies ways to keep it open in spite of being more than $400,000 in debt.
