Andrew Hardy, former superintendent at Sharon, Ont.'s Pheasant Run Golf Club, is joining the BrettYoung team as regional account manager for Ontario (professional turf).
His placement becomes effective Nov. 16.
Hardy brings with him 20 years of experience in the golf business, during which he won an Environmental Leaders in Golf International Award in 2013. He has become known as an innovative superintendent who is continually challenging himself to find new and more efficient ways to manage turf.
He will be working alongside Everett Nieuwkoop as part of the expanding BrettYoung professional turf sales team in Ontario.
