Nov. 9, 2018 – The first artificial turf sports field in Newmarket, Ont. has officially opened, enabling several local sports groups to extend their seasons well into the fall and being able to start earlier in the spring. The field replaced an existing natural surface at Dr. J.M. Denison Secondary School on Bristol Road.
