Green Municipalities in-person field day event slated for Guelph Turfgrass Institute Aug. 12

The Turfgrass Water Conservation Alliance (TWCA) will be holding an in-person field day event on Friday, Aug. 12 at the Guelph Turfgrass Institute.

The Green Municipalities field day event will feature five different sessions to highlight new cultivars, technologies and management practices to help municipalities and turf managers adapt to the realities of climate change.

The day begins with field tours at 10 a.m. to explore:

• Tall fescue drought evaluation

• Kentucky bluegrass drought evaluation

• Fiesta trial

• Turf canopy scanner

• Bacteria trial
