New ball diamonds proposed for former gravel pit site

The Town of Saugeen Shores, Ont. wishes to buy a former gravel pit to serve as the site of a new sports complex to include badly needed baseball diamonds. Council voted 7-0 in favour of the $1.5-million purchase price.
