Fredericton begins ash tree inoculation with insect reported nearby

July 30, 2019 – Now that the emerald ash borer has made its way to Oromocto, N.B., the nearby City of Fredericton is already taking pre-emptive measures to retain as many of its ash trees as possible. Twenty-one trees have already been inoculated with a pesticide to buy time for further planning.
