European agency finds no cancer link to turf infill

Fears that rubber particles used for synthetic turf infill can cause cancer have been put to rest by the European Chemicals Agency. Preliminary studies conducted by the agency suggest there is no cause for concern among athletes who play on synthetic turf surfaces or among those who install the fields.
