Direct Solutions™, a division of Agrium Advanced Technologies, has been appointed as the Canadian distributor for the Emerald Isle Ltd. product line.
The company's decision to represent Emerald Isle was made in part to unify its national product portfolio resulting from its acquisition of Evergro Canada Inc. last July. As a result of this decision, its long tenure with Grigg Brothers has ended.
The Emerald Isle product line and its Nutri•Rational true foliar, which utilizes sea plant extract technology, are familiar with Canadians.
"We are excited to be working with the leading developer and a pioneer of using organic materials for high performance foliar turf applications," said Mark Scenna, turf sales manager for Direct Solutions. "We look forward to presenting these products to you and sharing our 20-year Western Canadian golf course experience with Emerald Isle products.
He said Direct Solutions' mission is to offer turf managers across Canada with the latest technologies which offer the utmost in plant health and turf maintenance.
"We are excited to introduce Emerald Isle and its sea plant-based foliar technology in addition to QuickSilver, Golden Eagle and our Ultra Micro Contec fertilizer for the 2012 growing season."
