Chinch bugs are wreaking havoc on lawns in southeast Calgary
Homeowners think lawns are drought-stricken

Chinch bugs are leaving their mark this summer on many Calgary lawns. Nutri-Lawn general manager Mike House said the insects have been damaging turf, leaving many homeowners to believe their lawns are simply suffering from drought. The lawn care company says it’s been busy this summer, applying pest control products to the affected lawns, including a stretch of six houses in a row in one neighbourhood.
