Cedarhurst Golf Club near Beaverton, Ont. is hosting a memorial tournament Aug. 29 to honour its late superintendent and to raise funds for his son's first-year university expenses.

The Sean Evelyn Memorial Golf Tournament is being planned as a one-time event. Evelyn was superintendent at Cedarhurst for 17 years. He passed away in May following complications from lung cancer.

Sean and Heather Evelyn's son Christopher will be attending the University of Windsor.
