Anti-cankerworm tree banding underway in Regina

About 450 city-owned trees in Regina, Sask. are being banded to prevent a spring outbreak of cankerworm. The insect eats the leaves of trees, stripping them of their energy reserves. The city wishes residents to also get involved in the tree banding process.
