Verdun aims to shut down Nuns’ Island Golf Course

Aug. 29, 2019 – Nuns’ Island Golf Course in Verdun, Que. may be forced to shut its doors if the city has its way. The municipality claims the nine-hole course has violated its lease agreement with the city by watering its turf with municipal water and charging inappropriate fees for the public to play.
