Vandalism to golf course fairway on back-to-back nights estimated at $10,000

'Like a kick in the gut'

Deep ruts and uprooted sod on an Orillia-area golf course fairway, sustained in two separate acts of vandalism, have been “like a kick in the gut,” says the course owner. The damages, estimated at $10,000, occurred on back-to-back nights at the Lake St. George Golf Club and are believed to have been caused by the same individual.
