Professional golf’s Open Championship – aka the British Open – has been outright cancelled this year for the first time since the Second World War. The cancellation of the tournament, which was scheduled for July 16-19 at Royal St. George’s in England, leaves three remaining majors – all of which have been postponed to later dates.
