Moncton to pave over sports field for parking lot

Feb. 5, 2019 – The sports field adjacent to the former Moncton High School is being converted into a 562-space parking lot in spite of opposition from neighbouring residents who wanted the city to retain the downtown green space. The school closed in 2015, reopening with a new building elsewhere in the city.
