Oct. 9, 2019 – The Ottawa area’s public school board wants to pave paradise and put in a parking lot, but plans to pave over a well used school sports field to add more parking is being met with some strong opposition. Parents, students and the community at large oppose the proposed 61-space parking lot, suggesting children will be left with little room to play.
