Lease dispute has golf club members worried their course will be downsized

Emails say Eaglecrest course to be reduced to nine holes

Members of the Eaglecrest Golf Club in Qualicum Beach, B.C. are worried their golf course is going to be cut in half. The town and the company that owns the golf course have yet to agree on the annual lease rate for the municipal land within the golf course grounds. Club members have been told by email that the golf course will be reduced in size to nine holes from 18.
