Landscaping of B.C. boulevard debated over costs

July 30, 2019 – The shrub and grass-covered boulevard at Vernon, B.C.’s Turtle Mountain will remain intact for now after residents packing town council’s chambers objected to a proposed conversion to landscaping rock. The cost associated with the current landscaping is estimated at $150,000 a year, but the figure was received with skepticism.
