Calgary moving forward with fieldhouse plans

Project would give athletes a chance to play indoor sports in winter

Calgary is the only major city in Canada without a multi-purpose fieldhouse that allows indoor sports to be played during the winter months. But the city is moving forward with plans to pursue such a project that would include an artificial turf playing surface, basketball courts and a 400-metre track.
