City of Montreal argues fly balls pose public safety threat

Legal action against the City of Montreal has been taken by a group of local ball players who are fighting to keep a treasured baseball diamond open. The city has argued flying balls pose a danger to those traveling along nearby Park Avenue, but users of the diamond say there hasn’t been any such incident reported in recent memory.
