July 26, 2018 – An Alberta sports turf field day will be held Aug. 23 at Edmonton’s Rundle Family Centre. The event is being jointly presented by Sports Turf Canada and the Western Canada Turfgrass Association.
Keynote speaker for the day is Dr. Casey Reynolds, formerly of Texas A&M University and current executive director of Turfgrass Producers International.
The morning education program will include lessons on managing both natural and synthetic turf fields and will be followed by lunch, a trade show and interactive on-field demonstration stations.
All turf and parks staff are invited to attend. Sports Turf Canada and WCTA members will receive a discounted rate.
