Private member’s bill seeks to amend pesticide act in Ontario

A private member's bill was introduced and given first reading in the Ontario legislature earlier this month to amend the Pesticides Act. The proposed Bill 88 amends sections 7.1 and 11 of the Act to allow pesticides to be used for cosmetic purposes in accordance with a licence of a prescribed class.
