A First Nations community in the Northwest Territories is hoping a Toronto Blue Jays-sponsored charity will help to revitalize its baseball diamond which is said to be in “horrible” shape. The Tsiigehtchic community is reaching out to the Jays Care Foundation to seek funding to lay down turf at the field.
