Martin Deerline merging with another Alberta Deere dealer to form newly named company
Deerline, Agland to become Horizon Ag and Turf

Martin Deerline and Agland – a pair of Alberta-based John Deere dealers – are combining their operations under the new banner, Horizon Ag and Turf.
The merger will be effective July 31.
Martin Deerline was founded in 1965 and currently has 10 locations throughout Alberta, including two in Edmonton and one each in Calgary, Warburg, Mayerthorpe, Westlock, Barrhead, High Prairie, Falher and Wetaskiwin. Agland was founded in 1957 with three locations in the province.
Cam Kay will become CEO of the newly formed company. Cam Martin and Darren Lindsay will be operations managers for regional dealership locations. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
