Wright named superintendent of the year

Ken Wright, superintendent at Caledon, Ont.'s Devil's Pulpit, has been named superintendent of the year by the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association. An announcement was made on Nov. 30 at the annual Professional Turfgrass Seminar sponsored by Ontario Seed Company and Nutrite.

He will formally be honoured by the association in February during the Canadian International Turfgrass Conference and Trade Show in Calgary.

A couple of years ago, he spearheaded a major project at the neighbouring Devil's Paintbrush which saw its greens undergo a major overhaul.
