
Jan. 14, 2019 – Winnipeg’s ash trees will be injected this summer with an insecticide designed to kill the emerald ash borer larvae inside the tree trunks. The plan is to kill off enough larvae to allow the trees to survive until the intensity of Winnipeg’s ash-borer infestation subsides, something that’s expected over the course of several years.
