Winnipeg ‘greening’ up its municipal courses with new fleet of electric golf cars
Electric cars 10 per cent cheaper to operate
November 26, 2021 By Turf & Rec

In an effort to “green” up its golf operations next year, the City of Winnipeg is looking to acquire a fleet of electric golf cars for its municipal golf courses. The city wishes to acquire a total of 120 cars for its Kildonan Park, Windsor Park and Crescent Drive courses in time for the 2022 season. Winnipeg’s golf operations coordinator says electric cars are about 10 per cent cheaper per 18 holes to operate than their gasoline-powered counterparts.
