Winnipeg firm supports city’s tree planting program by $250K
City's plan is to plant one million trees to mitigate damages to ash and elm trees

Electronic payment company Telpay has contributed $250,000 towards Winnipeg’s tree-planting efforts. The city wishes to plant one million trees to mitigate losses of ash trees to the emerald ash borer and elms to Dutch elm disease. Tens of thousands of trees were also damaged in an early October snow storm.
