Wheels in motion for new Furber-designed nine-hole golf course in B.C.’s Okanagan
Project to include development of 445 homes
April 20, 2023 By Turf & Rec

First reading approval has been given for a new nine-hole golf course and housing development in British Columbia’s Okanagan.
The proposal is now to go before a public information session on May 6.
The original plan was to construct a Greg Norman-designed 18-hole course along with a 2,100-home development project and a commercial centre. The plan now is for the development of 445 homes and a nine-hole course designed by Les Furber of GDS Designs that will measure 2,500 yards. Par is 33.
The golf course’s construction timeline is set for a completion date by November 2025.
