Western Canada snow & ice summit Sept. 13 in Calgary

Sept. 6, 2019 – Registration is open for the second annual Western Canadian Snow & Ice Management Summit in Calgary.

The Sept. 13 event, co-sponsored by the Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA), is a day of educational events, networking and a trade show. Admission is $79.95 (plus GST) and includes lunch.

Speakers for the day include:

• Debora Babin Katz, vice-president of Truc Brush Corp. and vice-president of business development for Fairway Lawn Care Corp. of Easton, Mass., who will speak about “Innovations & Problem Solving in the Snow & Ice Management Industry.”

• Mark Adamson, executive vice-president of Douglas Dynamics, who will speak about “Industry & Product Updates in the Snow & Ice Management Industry.”

• Ian Ashby, senior adviser to SIMA and owner of Arbutus Landscaping in Calgary, who will speak about Service Verification, Documentation, Client expectations, Contractual requirements and Insurance Partnerships.”

Additionally, two technology sessions with LMN are scheduled for the day.

The event is being held at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino.
