Walker family reunion to celebrate company’s 150,000th mower

March 22, 2018  By  Mike Jiggens

Walker Manufacturing Company, producers of the Walker mower, will hold its third milestone production celebration July 13-15 to mark the 150,000th mower to come off the assembly line in the company’s 40 years.

“We are a company that likes to celebrate,” Walker president Bob Walker said. “We believe taking time to recognize achievments both big and small helps keep a company healthy and reminds us of our blessings.”

The Walker Family Reunion, to be held Friday through Sunday in Fort Collins, Colo., will include several events, including the Walker World Championship Obstacle Course, the Walker Advantage Driving Experience and Skills Challenge, factory tours, workshops, a family area, various bands and two nights of entertainment headline by Josh Wilson and Doc Walker.

“This celebration is also a reminder of the profound opportunity we have to impact others,” Walker said. “We see business as multiplication of opportunity. Our factory team is only a small part of the overall impact of this product when you consider our suppliers, distributors, dealers and the customers we are blessed to work with.”
