Wainfleet, Ont. approves funding for upgrades to local baseball diamonds, soccer fields

Budgeting for upgrades to Wainfleet, Ont.’s ball diamonds, soccer fields and walking trails have been approved by council at a special meeting this week. A four-year project that includes more than $1 million in federal and provincial funding is earmarked for improvements to ball diamonds and soccer fields in the township as well as upgrades to tennis courts and a walking trail.
