Veteran Sawmill Golf Course superintendent recognized on ‘Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day’

Yesterday marked “Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day” in Canada and throughout the world. Individuals and groups used the occasion to salute some of these turf managers via social media and postings on websites and in print. Golf Ontario has published a tribute to veteran superintendent Don Blatchley of Sawmill Golf Course near Fenwick, Ont., where he has worked the past 42 years.
