Vandals targeted five soccer fields in Vernon, B.C. during the weekend, causing extensive damage to one field and significant harm to another. The general manager of a neighbouring indoor soccer facility said barriers must be installed to prevent future access to the fields, suggesting the associated cost is still cheaper than repairing the fields themselves.
