Vandalized cricket pitch repaired and back in play in Montreal’s Van Horne Park
Artificial pitch was torn up, left unplayable

A Montreal cricket pitch vandalized in July is back in play following repairs. The artificial turf pitch at Van Horne Park was deliberately torn up, rendering it unplayable. The local cricket community assisted in the surface’s repair. A city councillor said there is sufficient demand in the community to consider installing a second pitch.
