Vancouver Island municipality to reconsider its decision for artificial turf in boulevards

Maintenance costs have increased beyond that which Langford council originally projected

Maintaining the artificial turf laid down along city boulevards in Langford, B.C. has turned out to be more expensive than originally thought. Costs have increased 64 per cent since the synthetic turf was installed in 2017, and council is now prepared to discuss whether the municipality should revert back to natural grass.
