Upgrades continue at Niagara sports park, but joggers, walkers allowed to return
Park to be ready for 2022 Canada Summer Games

Closed in early October to facilitate $1.1 million in improvements, Oakes Park in Niagara Falls has reopened its track to accommodate walkers and joggers. The improvement project will continue with upgrades to the park’s premier baseball diamond, grandstand and lighting. Work is expected to be completed in the spring of 2021 to be ready for the 2022 Canada Summer Games.
