Unrented sports fields costing North Bay about $85,000

The City of North Bay, Ont. is estimating a loss of $85,000 in revenue as a result of field and park rentals not being realized amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The estimate is based on bookings through to the end of this month. Both the North Bay Youth Soccer Association and North Bay Baseball Association have cancelled league play this year already.
