EARTH & Turf Products, LLC, has announced new, higher-capacity models in its line of topdresser spreaders. The new, larger units can be classified in two categories:
The LANCO ST-100 Series models are 1.0 cubic yard mounted or 1.0 cubic yard pull-type topdressers with galvanized hoppers. They offer a choice of tractor hydraulics or 13-hp Honda engine-driven hydraulics, with standard or deluxe controls. Their wide, 20-inch conveyor belt moves different kinds of material smoothly through a large, 7-inch X 20-inch metering gate. There is a choice of fixed or tilt spinners. Standard turf tires are 25.6 X 14-12 NHS turf for maximum flotation.
If the LANCO ST-100 is not large enough to handle the needs, three additional, larger capacity topdressers offer capacities of 3.5, 5.0 or 6.5 cubic yards. They can spread dry or wet material of all kinds, many with more than 40-feet-wide spread pattern. These topdressers have a 31-inch wide, crescent-style conveyor belt and a 15-inch X 31-inch metering gate opening for quick unloading withour bridging. These units will also offer “pin-on" attachments. Their large capacity drastically cuts labour cost and reduces trips. Large, 33-15.0 X 16.5 flotation tires are standard for low ground pressure and good stability.
